In the summer of 2022 I was fortunate to work with UNESCO! It had always been a dream for me to work with the United Nations. As a Political Science undergraduate I loved what the UN stood for and what it does internationally.
The work was strange and exciting and challenging. First, I learned about Futures Literacy, what it means for equity deserving community and how it can change the world. Then I led a co-design lab with amazing equity deserving communities. The idea was to go beyond the poverty of imagination and think about alternative futures for equity deserving communities.
I'm very proud of the work I did with UNESCO and happy to share my certificate of achievement because it was moving, meaningful and incredibly rewarding.
